NY Visit

Probably mid meltdown on her hike with Daddy and Grandpa. Mommy stayed home because she had a feeling Riley might need a nap more than a hike.

We had a wonderful 9 days visiting family and friends in NY, it never seems like enough time to do everything. Riley loves having everyone around, and being able to spend the morning tromping through the veggie garden and the afternoons floating in the pool.

Zoo Day!

We love going to the zoo! We are so lucky to have a wonderful local zoo right down the road from us. Riley's favorite part of the zoo is visiting the giraffes, but this was the first time she was brave enough to feed them. Usually she just throws the food at them and runs. Now we need to work on visiting the tiny little birds that scare her to death.

Great Grandpa & Great Grandpa visit!

We had a wonderful visit with great Grandpa & Grandma over 2 days, as they drove through VA to NY. Riley shared her love of puzzles and Tinkerbell with them! We love having family stay with us.

After the parade but before the BBQ, Riley and I had some baking to do. Riley stayed close by making sure she was first in line to get the chocolate covered beater, yes she is most certainly my daughter.
